Fresh Water reservoir on river Musi at Gandipet called Osman Sagar is the Prime Drinking Water source to the Capital City of Hyderabad. Agriculture University is established at Rajendernagar in this district where research operations for getting more yields are taking place. All the Colleges are affiliated to Osmania University.
